About Biology Test 02
Biology Test 02 is the second timed practice set in our Biology series for Pak Army, Navy and Pak Air Force initial tests. It has 25 multiple-choice questions to finish in 10 minutes, and every question comes from a topic that is repeated again and again in armed forces papers: the human body, plants, blood and vitamins, cells and genetics, hormones and simple ecology.
Every question has four options. When you finish, the test shows your score, the correct answers and a short explanation for each mistake. If you have not tried the first set yet, start with Biology Test 01 and then come back to this one.
Topics inside this test
The paper mixes human biology, plant biology and basic genetics so that no single area carries you through. Expect questions on:
- Organs and body systems: liver, lungs, kidney, nervous and respiratory systems
- The eye, the skeleton and the endocrine glands
- Blood: arteries, platelets and vitamin K
- Vitamins and deficiency diseases, such as rickets
- Plants: roots, leaves, photosynthesis, transpiration and pollination
- Cells, DNA, reproduction, microorganisms and ecology
Quick revision notes from this test
- The liver makes bile, the small intestine absorbs most nutrients, and the nephron is the functional unit of the kidney.
- Arteries carry blood away from the heart, platelets help blood clot and vitamin K is needed for clotting.
- The iris controls the light entering the eye, and the skull protects the brain.
- Rickets is caused by a lack of vitamin D, and the pituitary is the master gland.
- Leaves carry out photosynthesis, roots absorb water, and water vapour is lost through the leaves by transpiration.
- Producers make their own food, bacteria make yoghurt, and mushrooms and yeasts belong to the Fungi.
How to get the most from this test
Attempt the test once without looking anything up. Your first score shows where you really stand. Then read the explanation for every wrong answer and write the fact in a notebook in your own words. Biology questions in armed forces tests are mostly short and factual, so a neat list of organs, vitamins and their functions is the fastest way to improve.
Try the test again after two or three days. If the same questions keep going wrong, spend extra time on that topic before moving on.
